Intention Interiors + Design is a professional interior design firm founded by licensed Interior Designer Patricia Fletcher. With over twenty years of industry experience, the firm specializes in a diverse range of residential and commercial projects.

At Intention Interiors + Design, we are dedicated to creating environments that respond to our clients’ needs while transcending the purely functional and aesthetic. We recognize that interior spaces have the power to evoke both physical and psychological responses—shaping how people feel, interact, and experience their surroundings. Our mission is to ensure that every end user encounters a meaningful and memorable experience—one that nurtures well-being, connection, and comfort.

Inquiry, creativity, and empathy guide our practice, grounding the “why” behind every design decision. We believe that the best plans begin with intention. Intention is rooted in the present moment—serving as both the seed and the roadmap for what we aspire to create.
The Firm
Patricia Fletcher, MID, ARIDO, NCIDQ - Licenced Interior Designer/Principal
Patricia Fletcher holds a Master of Interior Design from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) and is a graduate of the Interior Design program at Fanshawe College. She obtained her NCIDQ certification in 2017, the same year she founded Intention Interiors + Design. An award-winning designer, Patricia brings extensive expertise in the custom millwork industry, cultivating a meticulous eye for detail and a deep respect for the “notions” and functional components that shape how we inhabit space.

Her creative practice bridges art, design, and research, extending beyond interiors into several art forms, writing, and poetry that inform and enrich her design thinking. Guided by the belief that every project is a form of creative inquiry, Patricia approaches her work with conceptual depth and material sensitivity. Her current research critically examines domesticity through the lens of moral geography and feminist theory, interrogating how postwar housing design and discourse have shaped gendered experiences of home. Through this work, she explores how creative interventions can reimagine domestic space as a site of agency, resistance, and renewal.
